Our hotel is a family of "Yumori" (hot spring guardians) for generations. Therefore, there's much we can talk about hot springs. First, please take a look at the images of Sunayu, the primal landscape of Yubara Onsen from ancient times.

Overview of Petit Hotel

1. Our commitment to onsen

We are a small, western-style inn located in the center of Yubara Onsen. Our pride is that all of our diverse rooms and their bathrooms are directly supplied with spring water. We also have a private open-air bath on the rooftop, which also has a free-flowing hot spring. All baths have an "Onsen Diagnosis Sheet" displayed to disclose the usage of the hot spring.
Since our hotel is committed to free-flowing hot springs, we do not have a large public bath. We offer a free admission ticket to Yumoto Onsenkan, located nearby, to customers who wish to use a public bath. In addition, all our staff hold "Onsen Guru" and bathing instructor qualifications and can answer any questions you may have about hot springs. If you wish, we also conduct hot spring training sessions.

2. Our commitment to meals

Most of our ingredients are safe, home-grown rice and vegetables from nearby farmers and relatives. We are pleased to offer our customers rare vegetables that are not often found in the market. For meat dishes, we usually offer homemade duck pastrami, but it is also possible to offer black Wagyu beef from Okayama Prefecture or branded Chiya beef steak upon request. We also accept orders for our specialty dishes, such as cheese fondue made with Jersey cow milk and our melty hot spring yudofu (hot spring tofu).

3. Our commitment to rooms

We are a small inn with 10 rooms in total. We have twin rooms, triple rooms, semi-suite rooms, Japanese-Western style rooms, and a separate special room. We will meet your requests regarding the number of people and your budget. The maximum capacity is 33 people when each room is used at full capacity.

All rooms have a bath and toilet (directly supplied with spring water), and wireless LAN (FREESPOT) is also available throughout the building.

4. Unique services

First, we provide a simple hot spring guide at check-in. This is because our hot spring is strongly alkaline (pH 9.3), and if customers bathe in it as if it were a normal hot spring, they may have skin problems. We will also provide you with basic knowledge so that you can experience the high quality of our hot spring water. During dinner, you can enjoy a performance by three antique music boxes.
In addition to our cuisine, we also offer local sake and original cocktails. Our sake sommelier will help you choose the right drink to go with your meal.

The next morning, before or after breakfast, or at check-out, we will take you on a sightseeing tour of the hot spring town's famous spots and highlights. We will guide you in an eco-friendly and retro British limousine powered by waste tempura oil, so you can enjoy the tour regardless of the rain or snow.

5. All staff are Onsen Gurus

We are a small, family-run inn. All of us were born and raised here, so please feel free to ask us anything about the area. Feel free to ask us anything during your stay or after check-out, such as recommended sightseeing spots, reservations for soba noodle making studios or glass workshops, and access to tourist spots.

6. Unique accommodation plans

A popular plan right now is the **"Yukemuri Dock"** which includes a relaxed medical check-up. You fast only for lunch on the day of the check-up, which starts at 1:00 PM and ends around 4:00 PM, and then you can enjoy a fun hot spring trip. For more details, please click on the image below to view the PDF file. This plan cannot be booked online.
You can also become an Onsen Guru and enjoy hot springs 100 times more. The **"Onsen Guru Training Stay Plan"** includes a 1-night, 2-day stay (with 2 meals) and entry into the Onsen Dojo, where you can learn the correct knowledge about hot springs and be awarded an Onsen Guru license. Since the schedule of the master instructor needs to be adjusted, please contact us by phone to make a reservation.
In addition, regular accommodation plans (with or without meals, etc.) can also be booked through the online reservation system.
